Unfortunately, water applied uniformly doesn't necessarily penetrate uniformly. In fact, it may not penetrate at all. Studies show that 30% to 70% of applied water never reaches the root zone of plants.

When water isn't effective in penetrating thatch or soil, you use more of it. What is Dispatch?
Dispatch is a soil surfactant with a chemistry specifically developed for application through irrigation systems. It makes the irrigation system significantly more effective by helping to distribute water uniformly, and helping that water penetrate the root zone more effectively - reducing runoff and evaporation.

What does Dispatch do?
Dispatch in an irrigation system accomplishes two things: First it reduces the surface tension of the water being applied so that it can penetrate more effectively and less water will be lost to run-off and evaporation. Second, because the turf is being treated with a soil surfactant, it ensures that subsequent applications of water - by rainfall or irrigation - will penetrate more rapidly and uniformly.
