With REWARD herbicide, you never have to wait for aquatic weed control. A non-selective, highly active contact material, REWARD spreads quickly through the water and makes fast contact with aquatic weeds. Water-soluble, it is absorbed by target plants in just minutes, providing broad-spectrum control of floating, submersed and marginal weeds. With such outstanding control, there is never any worry about groundwater contamination or toxicity to fish, other aquatic organisms and wildlife. A non-selective herbicide, REWARD can be used in and along the edges and non-flood areas of ponds, lakes, drainage ditches and canals. Once applied, REWARD diffuses rapidly through the water, is quickly absorbed through the weed's leaf cuticle, and then Tran locates to other parts of the plant. It acts by interfering with photosynthesis in the plant. The first phytotoxic effects on above-water foliage in bright sunlight can be seen within an hour after treatment. Complete control of floating vegetation occurs within one to five days, while submersed weeds require approximately five to 15 days for control.
