Embark^® 2-S Plant Growth Regulator is the world's best known and most versatile plant growth regulator. Mefluidide, the active ingredient in Embark 2-S, provides landscape managers and other turf professionals with a wide variety of benefits depending on the timing and rate of the application.

Elimination of the stems and seedheads allows energy to be redirected to the development of roots, rhizomes and tillers. Apply Embark 2-S no later than four weeks after green-up. The treated turf will tend to stay greener and lusher for extra weeks after the growth hold effect wears off.

Embark 2-S saves time, labor and equipment. Labor intensive trimming and edging can also be held in place with an application of Embark 2-S.

Spraying low-maintenance turf with Embark 2-S lets you and your budget take an eight week break from mowing! This can be even more attractive when the mowing you are eliminating is on steep hillsides, around ponds and lakes, or in other potentially hazardous situations.

Embark 2-S can be tank-mixed with Trimec^® broadleaf herbicides and fertilizers for turf applications.

Ornamental shrubs, hedges, trees and groundcovers treated with Embark 2-S 4 to 7 days after trimming or pruning stay within a few inches of their clipped height for up to 12 weeks!

Properly timed applications of Embark 2-S will also reduce or eliminate the nuisance fruit from ornamental olive trees.

Embark 2-S aids in spring transition of Bermudagrass from overseeded ryegrass.
