Lake Colorant and Lake Colorant WSP

Lake Colorant is safe and non-toxic to fish, waterfowl and livestock. Treated water may be used for irrigation, swimming and other recreational sports.

Using Lake Colorant WSP® to create natural-appearing blue water is easy and inexpensive. Lake Colorant WSP® is the perfect colorant for lakes, ponds, water hazards, or large fountains. In addition, Lake Colorant WSP® can still be used for other purposes, such as irrigation, without discoloring turf, concrete, or other surfaces.

Lake Colorant WSP® is a highly concentrated blend of dry-flowable colorants in easy-to-use water-soluble packets (WSP®s). Unlike liquid colorants, WSP®s totally eliminate any need for measuring or for any applicator contact with the colorant.
Here are some examples of what you won't experience with Lake Colorant WSP®:

  • Muddy shoes or boots from standing on shorelines and pouring liquid colorant directly in the water.
  • Cleanup of messy liquid colorant residue.
  • Plastic jugs or bottles to throw away.

After you toss the packets into the water, they dissolve quickly and easily, leaving no residue. Lake Colorant's exclusive formula disperses the colorant quickly. And since the water-soluble packet floats, coloring occurs from the top down for much faster results.

Easy to calculate, simple to dispense

Each Lake Colorant WSP® packet weighs less than a pound. So the packets are easy to handle. And because the packets are pre-measured, rate calculations are simple to make—no matter how large or small a body of water you are treating.

Each packet treats one acre-foot of water. The rate chart tells you the number of packets recommended. All you have to do is toss in the correct number of packets. And that's it. You're done.

Safe to use

Lake Colorant WSP® has undergone strict environmental testing at an independent laboratory. All tests were conducted in accordance with US Environmental Protection Agency good laboratory regulations as promulgated by the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, Rodenticide Act (40CFR, Part 160). For a copy of the test data, contact Becker Underwood.
