Ryan Madden comes to Supreme as Sales Manager after having served in a variety of key positions within the golf business for the last 18 years. A native St. Louisan, he grew up caddying at Westwood Country Club before moving on to study at Iowa State University, where he earned a B.S. in Horticulture, after which he began to pursue a career in Turfgrass Management. While at Iowa State, Ryan interned at two St. Louis area clubs, Westwood Country Club and Bellerive Country Club, as well as The Club at Cordillera in Colorado. Prior to his arrival at Supreme, Ryan spent seven years at Sunset Country Club as Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. While at Sunset, Ryan was responsible for all day-to-day golf course operations, including planning and executing all cultural practices as well as all fertilizer and plant health/protectant applications. In addition to his regular duties at Sunset, Ryan also spent time conducting his own research on various fertilizers and plant protectants, both new and old. Ryan’s hands-on knowledge and experience provides him with the opportunity to stay on the cutting edge of industry advances.
Lauren Martin brings a unique blend of experience and expertise in her role as Office Manager. Prior to joining Supreme Turf, Lauren’s experience includes roles in Banking, Finance Management, Government Contracting, and International Logistics. She is responsible for all aspects of maintaining a successful business, to include: process improvement, accounts payable and receivable, inventory management, as well as driving service excellence with vendors. Lauren understands the challenges of managing small businesses, and is passionate about fostering a profitable business. Lauren’s focus is the business’s performance, efficiencies, and believes in a unified company culture, resulting in businesses going from good to great. Her breadth of experience creates a team that is passionate about their work and provides Supreme Turf with the competitive edge needed to attain success.
Eric Pickrell has over 20 years of experience in the Turfgrass Management Industry. His path to Turfgrass Management began at the age of 15, with a summer job at Salina Country Club. As his career developed, Eric has served as Golf Course Superintendent at River Oaks Golf Course and Leavenworth Golf Club; in these roles, he was responsible for the labor, time, materials and financial resources needed to care for the turfgrass and landscaped grounds. Eric is passionate about providing excellent customer service, and is well versed in custom lawn and landscaping, as well as golf club management and operations. He holds a certificate in Golf Course Management from Mundus Institute in Phoenix, AZ. In his spare time, Eric enjoys spending time with his son, Cohen, and is an avid golfer. Eric proudly supports the Kansas State University Wildcats, the Kansas City Royals, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
